Fixed it for ya

The cats won't trade in anyone with a pricetag. They'll offload a few for trades, and use their draft picks. They have cap pressure, and they're an aging side, so they need new blood
thanx for that, reading 2 different boards at once and getting myself confused - simple mistake. They would still laught if those deals were proposed.
I agree. The cats are in a pretty good position with their side at the moment. They have 3 or 4 to get rid of, will probably pick up a first round plus 2-3 second rounders and 2-3 third rounders as well.
I like the talk of Stokes going to the Eagles - Varcoe, Byrnes, Hogan, Chappy are ahead of him for the small fwd spot and he hasn't shown a lot of consistency over the last 2 yrs. Trade him now while he has value and we could get a 2nd rnd pick for him, throw in Lonergan if they are looking for another tall fwd to sweeten the deal.
I see Blake moving on, the reports that he turned down a new contract mid year I guess to hold off on more money don't sit well with me for a guy who is a great tap ruckman but inconsistent around the ground. There are teams who will probably be looking for a new ruckman, I would take a 3rd pick for him.
Gamble is an interesting case. After the Lions match this yr I said he was trade bait because he failed to stand up when he needed to and I thought we might get a 3rd or 4th rnd pick for him. But with the talk of a few clubs circling it might raise his value. Tenace is a guy who will probably also move on, or be delisted since he is out of contract.
Cats could end up with a few good picks and generally pick up a few good guys with our 2nd and 3rd picks - great recruitment team.
